Work that shaped me

These experiences show how I have applied marketing, sales, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving in class and beyond Auburn.

01

Community leadership

4 The Cross
Founder · 2023–Present

Turning a cause into a campaign

I founded 4 The Cross and helped raise more than $16,000 for the village of La Cochilla in Honduras. I managed advertising and promotional efforts that helped connect the mission to people willing to support it.

Reflection: This experience taught me that effective marketing begins with a clear purpose. People respond when a message is honest, specific, and connected to a real need. I also learned that momentum comes from consistent follow-up, not one strong promotion.

Athletics and leadership

Auburn Football
Student-athlete · 2024–Present

Leading when the pressure is high

Competing as a member of the Auburn football team has required preparation, accountability, and consistent effort. I have learned to work with different personalities, respond to coaching, and keep team goals ahead of individual comfort.

Reflection: Football has shown me that leadership is often quiet and repetitive. It means showing up prepared, communicating clearly, and staying dependable when the stakes rise. Those habits transfer directly to professional teams and client relationships.

Sales course project

Penske Truck Leasing
Auburn Drive team · 2026

Building a consultative sales recommendation

My team analyzed the Triple J Components case and developed a focused sales presentation for Penske Truck Leasing. We organized the customer problem, matched Penske capabilities to the buyer's priorities, and delivered the recommendation as a concise team presentation.

Reflection: I learned that a good sales presentation is not a list of features. It starts with the customer's operation, identifies the cost of the current problem, and explains value in language the buyer cares about. Strong teamwork also made our delivery more confident and consistent.

Information systems project

Tiger Financial Advisors
Client portal proposal · 2026

Designing technology around the client experience

I developed an IT solution for a growing financial advisory firm serving about 1,000 households. The proposal covered a secure client portal, document uploads and authorized imports, meeting scheduling, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and an optional AI assistant.

Reflection: This project helped me connect technology decisions to business outcomes. The best solution was not simply the most advanced. It had to protect client information, fit the firm's growth, connect with existing systems, and remain easy for clients and advisors to use.

Driven by purpose and people

I am a marketing major at Auburn University with experience in athletics, nonprofit leadership, customer service, sales presentations, and business technology. I am interested in opportunities where I can build relationships, solve practical problems, and help an organization grow.

My background has taught me how to accept feedback, communicate with a team, and stay composed in demanding situations. I want to carry those habits into a career in marketing, sales, and real estate.
